Jason Alexander joined Miller Thomson LLP as an associate in the Real Estate Group after completing his articles in 2010.
Jason’s practice focuses on all areas of real estate law, including land development, leasing, real estate acquisitions and commercial transactions.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen’s University with a major in Political Science and was a four-year recipient of the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award. Prior to attending law school, Jason successfully started and ran various businesses including a prep course business concentrating in undergraduate, LSAT and MCAT prep courses offered at seven universities across Ontario and Quebec, and a solar energy business which focuses on installing solar panels on commercial rooftops. He has also been apart of numerous research projects for various organizations and has co-authored three papers for the Centre for the Study of Democracy. While attending law school at University of Calgary, Jason was awarded the Jason Lang Scholarship for academic excellence and the R.A. MacKimmie, O.C., Q.C. award for outstanding contribution to the life of the law school.
Jason is an avid traveller, a sports enthusiast and has recently completed his first novel.
