On November 15, 2024, SK Capital completed its acquisition of Spectra Confectionery Limited (“Spectra”).
Based in Vaughan, Ontario, Spectra was founded by Bill and Maureen Georgas and is the largest sprinkles and inclusions manufacturer in Canada, distributing a wide range of confections and custom panned products. Prior to its sale to SK Capital, Spectra was family-owned by the Georgas family, and operated with over a century of combined expertise in the art of candy panning. In connection with the sale, Managing Director, John Georgas, and President of Operations, Nikolaos Georgas, will remain involved in the day-to-day business operations of Spectra moving forward.
