Nafisah Chowdhury practices law focusing on employment and commercial litigation. She provides day-to-day strategic advice to businesses of all sizes on a broad range of matters, including navigating workplace issues, resolving corporate disputes, and addressing privacy law concerns. Known for her realistic and prompt advice, Nafisah’s litigation experience encompasses such areas as the enforcement of restrictive covenants, defending employers against wrongful dismissal lawsuits, and asset recovery in commercial fraud cases. She regularly appears before various courts and tribunals, ensuring sound representation for her clients.

Beyond her legal career, Nafisah actively engages in various community projects. As a strong believer in the importance of good governance, she earned her ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), the operator of Pearson Airport.

Nafisah articled at Miller Thomson and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2008. She is a past executive member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Labour & Employment Section, as well as a past executive member of The Advocates’ Society’s Labour & Employment Practice Group. Acknowledged with distinctions like the Lexpert Rising Star Award (recognizing Canada’s leading lawyers under 40) and receiving praise from The Best Lawyers in Canada for her deep employment law knowledge, Nafisah brings a wealth of experience to her practice.
