Neil Gurmukh has extensive experience in advising on Canadian and cross-border income tax matters. His practice focuses on tax planning and advising on tax aspects of domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, corporate finance transactions and succession planning. Neil also has experience in advising clients in tax controversy matters and disputes with Canada Revenue Agency.

Neil frequently speaks and writes on income tax matters, and is an active member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Canadian branch of the International Fiscal Association, the American Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association and the South Asian Bar Association of Toronto. He is also an editor and frequent and contributor for Federated Press’ International Tax Planning journal.
