Miller Thomson represented the shareholders of the DeSerres group of companies, which is a leading Canadian art retailer, in the selling of their shares in the group to Renaud-Bray, which is a major Quebec-based book and cultural entertainment company. This strategic transaction for Renaud-Bray includes the 28 DeSerres stores located in Quebec, Ontario, Nova Scotia and British Columbia, the DeSerres website (deserres.ca), a company which specializes in framing supplies and services, as well as a distributor of stationery products.
