On October 8, 2024, Medomea, a family-owned company, acquired, through a related company, Formedica, a corporation specializing in the design and manufacture of orthopaedic products in order to ensure its succession. This strategic acquisition for Medomea will ensure the growth of the company, which employs around thirty people at its distribution centre and factory in Contrecoeur, Quebec.
