On June 21, 2022, CDPQ announced its $10 million investment in Cozey (“Cozey” or the “Company”) as part of a financing round totalling $15 million, combining new bank financing with reinvestments by shareholders already active in the company.
Based in Montréal and founded in 2020, Cozey is Canada’s first 100% modular, easy-to-assemble sofa-in-a-box company.
Miller Thomson advised Cozey with a team led by Phil Park and Philippe St-Louis (Corporate/M&A) and comprised of Josyane Ledoux and Miranda Ciavaglia (Corporate/M&A), as well as Filomena Muro (Paralegal).
