On January 5, 2021, J.H. Whitney Capital Partners (“Whitney”), a private equity firm, acquired Cooley Group (“Cooley”) and Vintex Inc. (“Vintex”) in a joint collaboration with Cooley’s executive leadership team. Cooley is a global manufacturer of high-performance polymeric solutions, with Vintex forming Cooley’s latest business offering in Healthcare Solutions as a result of the acquisition.
Located in Mount Forest, Ontario, Canada, Vintex operates as a leader in technical textiles and custom coated fabrics, including providing coated textiles for medical devices and antimicrobial and launderable products.
