On May 20, 2020, Keywords Studios (“Keywords”) completed a private placement raising gross proceeds of approximately £100 million. The shares being issued represent approximately 10.5 per cent of the issued ordinary share capital of the company prior to the private placement. Keywords Studios is an international technical and creative services provider to the global video games industry.
Numis Securities Limited and Citigroup Global Markets Limited acted as joint bookrunners in the private placement.
Miller Thomson acted as Canadian counsel to Keywords with a team led by Pierre Soulard (Capital Markets) and Philipp Park (Corporate/M&A).
