On September 21, 2020 the Ontario Superior Court of Justice ordered a Mareva injunction against Toronto-area developer Moninder Khudal, his family members and numerous companies under his control, who are among the defendants to a lawsuit commenced by a group of investors alleging the misappropriation of their investment funds, totaling to a collective sum of $38 million.
Miller Thomson is currently representing the Plaintiffs in the ongoing case, with a team comprising of Kevin Sherkin, Eric Sherkin, Karen Phung and Madeleine Dusseault (Commercial Litigation) with support from Juanita Logan (Clerk).
