On December 23, 2024, Duravant LLC (“Duravant”), a global leader in engineered equipment and automation solutions, announced its acquisition of POSS Design Limited (“POSS”), a Canadian manufacturer of innovative protein processing equipment.

POSS specializes in designing and producing mechanical separation equipment, ancillary products, and turnkey systems that enhance protein yield for high-volume processors of beef, pork, poultry, and other meats. Duravant’s acquisition of POSS bolsters its presence in the protein processing sector and enhances its capabilities to deliver cutting-edge solutions to processors worldwide. The acquisition underscores Duravant’s commitment to strengthening its position in the rapidly growing protein sector while offering integrated automation solutions to its customers.
