On April 3, 2023, SPX Technologies Inc. (NYSE:SPXC) (“SPX Technologies”) announced that it had acquired TAMCO, a privately-held market leader in motorized and non-motorized dampers which are utilized for controlling airflow in specialty applications across commercial, industrial, and institutional markets for approximately CA$170 million (approximately US$125 million) in cash.

SPX Technologies is a supplier of highly engineered products and technologies, holding leadership positions in the HVAC and detection and measurement markets.
