Overview

Dan Kiselbach provides general legal counsel, and his practice focus is on global trade and tax. Over the last three decades he has appeared at all Canadian court levels, including the superior courts of several provinces, the Tax Court of Canada, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, the Federal Court of Canada, and the Supreme Court of Canada. He has represented clients in audit, assessment, enforcement, collections, criminal, and other matters, including London Court of International Arbitration proceedings. He is the Managing Partner of the Vancouver office, and also leads the firm’s Global Trade and Customs Group as well as the Vancouver Tax Group.

Dan provides legal, strategic, and planning advice. He has assisted clients in most areas of the economy, including the auto, agricultural, apparel, e-commerce, energy, first nations, financial, food, government, health care, manufacturing, marine, mining, not-for-profit, and public sectors. He frequently deals with anti-money laundering and terrorist financing legislation, customs and commodity tax planning, e-commerce, economic sanctions, export controls, logistics, and supply chain management. He is a member of the bars of B.C., Ontario and New York, and has extensive knowledge of the regulations affecting Canada-US trade and investment.
