Myron Mallia-Dare participates in a panel discussion on ESG Considerations for PE Investments at the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section spring meeting on April 27-29, 2023.

ESG has been a focus for public companies and their disclosure requirements for several years. Distinct from these legal requirements, certain PE and VC funds have started focusing on companies that satisfy certain investment criteria for this space. This session, will, while acknowledging the significance of the foregoing, address the legal issues related to managing ESG issues across portfolio companies as well as ESG requirements of limited partners. The session will also address the legal issues related to conducting ESG due diligence and drafting of ESG provisions in purchase agreements.
