Biography description
Félix graduated with distinction from the Université de Montréal with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Politics. This first university program allowed him to study in fields he is passionate about, satisfy his intellectual curiosity and enjoy rewarding experiences, such as a photojournalism internship in Nepal.
He also completed a Bachelor of Civil Law on the undergraduate student honours list at the Université de Montréal.
During his studies, Félix volunteered at the McGill Legal Information Clinic, where he helped a large number of citizens gain access to justice. He also helped launch a new division of the Université de Montréal Legal Clinic, for which he delivered legal opinions, led client meetings, published a blog post and presented a seminar to community organization stakeholders. Through these experiences, he honed useful skills for his law practice and built relationships of trust with clients.
His keen interest in legal research and drafting saw him win the Université Laval Louis-Philippe-Pigeon Legal Writing Chair competition. Félix also gained hands-on research and drafting experience working for a Université de Montréal constitutional law professor and a Superior Court justice. His interest in litigation was piqued by this exclusive access to the inner workings of the legal world.
Félix recently completed his Bar School practical professional training .
In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, working out and learning about global geopolitical issues.
