Laura Bambara specializes in complex commercial litigation, focusing on extraordinary remedies and shareholder rights disputes. She represents a diverse array of clients, including major Canadian and foreign companies, as well as Crown corporations. Laura has participated in numerous high-profile trials, showcasing her expertise in Quebec courts. Her ability to navigate intricate litigation and provide effective solutions is highly valued by her clients.
Laura is an active member of the legal community and has been teaching civil procedure at the École du Barreau du Québec since 2017. She also serves as a supervising lawyer at the Barreau’s Legal Clinic, a volunteer organization that provides legal advice to those in need. Her contributions to the profession, including her articles on directors’ liability, demonstrate her commitment to legal education and knowledge sharing.
Laura earned her LL.B. from the University of Ottawa in 2010. She has received multiple recognitions for her excellence in litigation, including being listed on Benchmark Canada’s 40 & Under Hot List from 2020 to 2024 and being named a Litigation Star by Benchmark Canada from 2021 to 2024.
