Overview
Madison Derraugh is developing a broad corporate law practice, focusing on securities and capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and corporate governance. She has experience assisting in a range of areas including private placements, public and private transactions, securities regulations, financings, prospectus offerings, and reverse takeovers.
Madison was called to the Ontario Bar in 2021 after summering and articling at Miller Thomson LLP. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Madison held positions in both the public and private sectors and worked with stakeholders in multiple industries.
Madison obtained her JD from Western Law in 2020 where she worked as a Case Manager for the Western Business Law Clinic and provided legal services on a wide range of business matters to small and early-stage businesses and entrepreneurs. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, majoring in finance. During her undergrad and law degree, Madison participated in academic exchanges to Belgium and Italy.
