Akash oversees the firm’s legal talent in Alberta and Saskatchewan and supports the National Professional Resources team. He manages performance and serves as the primary point of contact for coaching and mentoring the current legal team, as well as prospective hires in both provinces. Armed with a solid background in legal recruitment and performance management, Akash is well-versed in the legal market and ensures top-notch support for the current team and future prospects.

Akash has strong ties to the legal community through his involvement in the Western Chapter of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (FACL) as well as his training efforts with Global Lawyers of Canada.

Akash’s career journey led him to Miller Thomson from a prestigious national recruitment firm, where he honed his skills as Director, Recruitment for five successful years. Focusing on legal recruitment services both nationally and internationally, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. Akash also holds an MBA from the University of Calgary.
