Alain Paquet

Alain Paquet practises mainly within the areas of civil and commercial litigation. He advises and represents his clients on various litigation matters, most notably contract and commercial disputes. He is also experienced in bankruptcy and insolvency law, tax disputes, and criminal law.

Alain Paquet has represented clients before the court including the Superior Court of Quebec (civil and commercial divisions) and the Court of Quebec (all divisions). He has done so on multiple occasions as part of various applications in the course of a proceeding, applications for safeguard orders, provisional or interlocutory injunctions, attachment before judgment cancellation requests, and hearings on the merits. His experience representing clients in court allowed him to stay on top of the most recent developments in legislation and jurisprudence, especially with regard to civil and commercial litigation.

Before his law career, Alain studied business administration, specializing in accounting, a path which led him to write and pass the Quebec CPA Order exam. His accounting experience has equipped him with sharp analytical skills.
