Overview
Daniel is a litigation associate who has worked on matters in the areas of commercial, insurance, municipal, debtor-creditor, and administrative litigation. Daniel summered and articled with Miller Thomson, prior to his call to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2023.
Daniel completed his law degree at the University of Saskatchewan. While studying at the College of Law, Daniel was the recipient of the Douglas A. Schmeiser Prize for the top mark in the Criminal Procedure course. He also received one of the College of Law’s Academic Achievement Scholarships.
Prior to studying law, Daniel obtained a business degree at the University of Regina. While completing his undergraduate studies, he was a teaching assistant in a number of courses in the Faculty of Business, assisting professors with marking and student consultation. Daniel also received two Academic Silver Scholarships and the Styles Family Foundation bursary for his academic performance, during this time.
Outside of professional life, Daniel enjoys serving the community. He has worked as a camp counselor at Dallas Valley Ranch Camp and also provided free music lessons to youth in his community. Additionally, Daniel has been involved in youth sports in Regina and surrounding areas, in both coaching and officiating roles.
