Derren Roberts

Derren received his Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Prior to law school, Derren completed his Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Criminology at the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV).

While at UBC, Derren was actively involved in the Allard community, volunteering as a Clinician for the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, giving presentations for Allard’s Legal Education Outreach program, and serving as Co-President of the Allard Beavers Rugby Club during its return from a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During his time at UFV, Derren co-authored a published research project on cannabis regulation in Abbotsford, BC, and held practicum positions with several governmental organizations.

In his free time, Derren enjoys playing soccer and tennis, participating in trivia, spending time with family and friends, and supporting his favorite soccer team, Liverpool FC.
