Overview
Elizabeth is an Associate in the Business Law Group, working on corporate/commercial, real estate and tax matters.
Elizabeth started her legal career at Miller Thomson LLP where she was a summer and articling student.
Elizabeth received her J.D. from the Queen’s University, where she also received her Bachelor of Commerce. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Elizabeth worked for various businesses in roles such as marketing and customer success.
Elizabeth provides practical advice in a number of areas:
Business Law: Buying and selling shares and assets for private corporations. Providing advice and support for operational decisions.
Real Estate: Acting for banks and borrowers on lending transactions. Acting for purchasers and sellers of real estate.
Tax: Creating and implementing tax-efficient planning for businesses and individuals including estate freezes and reorganizations.
Prior to working at Miller Thomson LLP, Elizabeth worked at a legal aid clinic drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney. Elizabeth also held a variety of municipal, sales and marketing roles throughout Ontario.
