Overview
Hayley works primarily in Corporate and Due Diligence as she conducts varying types of searches and obtains reports for transactions and deal closings. The searches most often include Corporate Profiles and Certificates, Bank Act, PPSA, Federal CCAA, Federal Bankruptcy and Insolvency, various types of Litigation and Execution and more. She is committed to providing professional and timely service to her colleagues and Miller Thomson clients. Hayley continues to grow in her role as she is currently expanding her knowledge pertaining to the Personal Property Security Act in order to provide services such as financing statement registrations, discharges and more. Hayley is also involved with our Social Committee, working with her team to put on special events for all team members. She participates in the planning and organizing, execution and hosting of our Annual Christmas and Summery Parties, staff appreciation events and more. She is dedicated to her role on the Social Committee, bringing positive energy, organization and creative ideas to every meeting and event.
Prior to her graduation, Hayley completed a co-op term at a Personal Injury firm in North York as an administrative assistant for the Accidents Benefits team. She also worked as an intern at a Medical Malpractice firm on Bay Street throughout her final year of school. This allowed her to get a feel for the law firm environment and perfect her general administration and personal assistant skills before officially entering the workforce.
