Overview

Ian Polisuk practices primarily in the areas of securities, corporate finance, M&A and commercial law. He acts for both private and publicly listed clients on a variety of transactions, including go-public transactions, public offerings, private placements of equity and debt securities, public and private M&A and general securities, corporate and commercial law matters. Ian also assists companies with compliance with securities regulations, stock exchange policies and contested shareholder matters, including proxy contests representing both dissident shareholders and boards of directors.

Ian is a volunteer with Pro Bono Ontario and provides corporate legal advice to low-income individuals and small businesses. Ian also serves as the lead instructor of the Securities Regulation course at Windsor Law School.
