Joshua Davis

Josh is responsible for the management and operation of student and junior associate programing across the firm’s Ontario offices. Josh plays a crucial role in guiding recruitment, in-firm orientation and integration, training and mentorship and performance management of all of the firm’s students and junior associates. He regularly liaises with law schools and the Law Society on student-related requirements and also works closely with the firm’s Partners, Learning Team and other stakeholders on the professional development of the firm’s students and junior associates. Josh is a member of the firm’s Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility Committee and is committed to advancing its initiatives. Josh is also a member of the National Association of Law Placement (NALP).

Prior to assuming this role, Josh completed the firm’s Summer and Articling Student Programs, and subsequently practiced as an Associate in the Business Law group in Toronto. With a practice focused on Corporate, M&A and Securities, he assisted clients on various transactions, including public and private acquisitions, equity and debt financings and a number of “go-public” transactions. Josh draws on this experience to help guide and support the firm’s students and junior associates with their professional development.
