Kaitlynd maintains a vibrant and developing practice in Miller Thomson’s Restructuring & Insolvency Group. She is experienced in a range of matters, from creditor’s rights enforcement and foreclosure to receiverships, proposals and restructuring under the BIA, as well as CCAA proceedings. Kaitlynd aims to work with her clients to find practical and cost-effective solutions to often novel and fast-developing situations. Aside from work, she enjoys singing in a choir, serving on the Health Arts Society of Alberta’s board of directors, and exploring the city on two wheels.

A dedicated member of the legal community, Kaitlynd has contributed as a lecturer and author on subjects including environmental and public health law, and predictive policing.

Before joining the firm, Kaitlynd articled to Justice Grant S. Dunlop at the Alberta Court of King’s Bench. Her experience includes volunteering with the Pro Bono Law Alberta Civil Claims Duty Counsel Project and the Pro Bono Law Alberta Court of King’s Bench Amicus Project, serving on Alberta Law Review, and participating in competitive moot programs.
