Overview
Karen Hakim is an associate in Miller Thomson’s Business Law group. She maintains a general corporate law practice with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions in a variety of sectors.
Karen obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and her law degree from Western University. During her time in law school, Karen was a caseworker and Team Lead at Community Legal Services, a Staff Editor for the Western Journal of Legal Studies, and a Teaching Assistant for a contracts course. She also worked at the London Courthouse as a Clerk and Court Reporter. Karen enjoyed helping members of the community navigate the legal system throughout her various roles.
Karen summered and articled with Miller Thomson before joining the firm as an associate.
