Kevin Sherkin’s practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation, with experience in shareholder disputes, real estate-related litigation, construction matters, enforcement of foreign judgments and breach of trust and fraud claims. With more than 150 reported cases, Kevin is known for aggressively pursuing the interests of his clients. Previously Kevin was the founding member and managing director of a boutique litigation firm for 30 years before joining Miller Thomson. Kevin has extensive experience before the Ontario Superior Court, Ontario Divisional Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal. He has also successfully appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada.

Kevin’s stellar background is also reflected in his work outside the office, where his community involvement includes lending his experience to the University of Toronto Law School’s Upper Year Moot course, and previously serving as a director of Temple Emanu-el and Youthdale Foundation.

Kevin shows his dedication to the legal profession as a proud and active member of The Advocates’ Society and Canadian Bar Association.
