Larry is a well-recognized and highly sought-after lawyer, noted as one of the foremost insolvency practitioners in Canada. Larry leads the Restructuring & Insolvency group at Miller Thomson and consistently guides some of the group’s most high-priority and complex insolvency matters. His breadth and depth of experience is rare in the industry, particularly as it relates to leading complex restructurings for some of Canada’s most notable companies and executives.

Larry’s dedication to his clients is underscored by his involvement in esteemed industry associations such as the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Canadian Insolvency Foundation and Turnaround Management Association. He also chaired a leadership program associated with the Annual Insolvency Conference in Paris, France, which is designed to develop the next generation of leading international insolvency professionals.

Larry is a proud participate in many diverse restructuring communities including the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges, the International Insolvency Institute NG, the Canadian Bar Association, the Turnaround Management Association, the Multi Law Restructuring Section and the Ontario Bar Association.
