Overview
Matthew is an associate in Miller Thomson’s advocacy group. He maintains a broad litigation practice providing dispute resolution services in a variety of different areas including contract disputes, fraud and commercial litigation among many others. Matthew also maintains a labour and employment practice providing both advisory services to clients interested in implementing new policies, employee handbooks and employment agreements as well as litigation services both in unionized and non-unionized environments. Matthew has appeared before various boards and tribunals as well as the British Columbia Provincial and Supreme Courts.
Matthew grew up playing team sports across North America which ultimately led him back to Vancouver to play for the UBC varsity men’s ice hockey team to which he is now proudly apart of their alumni program. Matthew volunteers as a mentor for both the CBA and the UBC men’s ice hockey team as well as an unofficial mentor in various other capacities.
Outside of the office Matthew likes to try different restaurants in the city, check out as many concerts as possible and dabble in a game of cribbage or two.
