Overview
Megan maintains a general solicitors practice. She works with a variety of practice groups and team members to ensure that clients’ needs are handled effectively and efficiently. Megan has experience with real estate transactions, wills and estates, and general corporate matters.
During her time as a student at Miller Thomson, Megan learned many valuable skills – including drafting wills and other estate documents, drafting leases, and documenting different types of corporate resolutions.
In her spare time, Megan enjoys reading, baking, playing the piano, and watching musicals.
Prior to joining Miller Thomson, Megan obtained her Juris Doctor with distinction from the University of Alberta. During law school, Megan was a member of Student Legal Services and the Alberta Law Review. She also played the piano in the annual University of Alberta Law Show. Megan was also a student research assistant, assisting with research into the area of Private International Law.
Before attending law school, Megan attended the University of Lethbridge, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in English and minoring in Philosophy.
Megan spent a summer working with the Alberta Crown Prosecution Service as a summer student after her second year of law school.
