Overview
Megan Kocher is a Corporate Law Clerk for the Southwestern Ontario offices of Miller Thomson LLP.
Megan has extensive knowledge of the Business Corporations Act (Ontario), the Canada Business Corporations Act, the Limited Partnerships Act, and the Income Tax Act.
Megan’s experience in Corporate Law includes the preparation of corporate documentation related to various transactions, such as incorporations, amalgamations, continuances, amendments, dissolutions, revivals, business name registrations, limited partnership registrations, extra-provincial registrations, due diligence research, corporate record maintenance, purchase and sale transactions, reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions, and arrangements in relation to tax planning in both Ontario and Canada.
Megan is also a licensed Paralegal, Notary Public, and Commissioner of Oaths.
Prior to joining Miller Thomson LLP, Megan worked as a Corporate Law Clerk at a Kitchener-based law firm for several years.
