Michael Kirk, K.C., is an experienced litigator who has worked with multi-national, national and local clients in a wide variety of areas. With experience in product liability defence, construction, insurance matters, and more, Michael’s strategic counsel spans various areas including administrative law, estate litigation, and shareholder disputes. As a former senior counsel in a major Canadian telecommunications company and western region counsel for Canada’s largest railway, Michael brings a wealth of experience to the table.

Michael’s commitment extends beyond the courtroom, with active involvement in community service. He currently holds the position of President of the Board of Edmonton Meals on Wheels and is a past board member at Triathlon Alberta. Michael’s dedication to both legal excellence and community betterment showcases his well-rounded approach to life and law.

Michael actively engages in legal education and professional development, including at the Canadian Bar Association and the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, where he co-teaches a course on trial advocacy. His continuous commitment to legal education and advocacy reflects his passion for empowering others in the legal field.
