Monica’s practice focuses on insolvency and restructuring matters, including BIA and CCAA proceedings, creditor-debtor disputes, enforcement of creditors’ rights and security, and informal restructurings. She has experience working with a wide-range of stakeholders in insolvency proceedings, including corporate debtors, secured lenders, receivers, representative counsel, inspectors, trustees, and court-appointed monitors. With a background in business, Monica received numerous awards during her time at Western Law, including the Insolvency Institute of Canada award in Insolvency Studies and the Catalyst Capital Scholarship in Bankruptcy, Insolvency, and Restructuring Law.

Monica’s experiences have honed her skills and knowledge, making her a standout professional in the legal realm.
