Myriam has been thriving in the Business Law Group at Miller Thomson’s Montréal office for several years. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, transactional law and general corporate and commercial law. In addition to her work at the firm, she also completed an 18-month secondment with the legal team of The Jean Coutu Group (PJC) Inc., where she developed a keen interest in franchising and health law.

Within her practice, Myriam actively guides clients through each stage of the transaction process, serving a diverse client base across industries, namely entertainment, technology, manufacturing, food and beverage, and professional orders and associations. She is perfectly bilingual in English and French, and conversant in Italian and Spanish. She holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Université de Montréal (2022) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Université du Québec à Montréal (2018). Myriam was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 2020.

Myriam is actively involved with associations like the Canadian Bar Association, the Young Bar of Montréal, the Canadian Italian Business Professional Association, and the M&A Club. She is also deeply involved in her community, and regularly recruits, trains, and mentors students and newly called lawyers. She has supervised legal clinics and pro bono initiatives related to business law and contributed to a number of charitable organizations related to women’s rights and healthcare.
