Scott Hammel has a litigation practice focused on some of the most significant industrial and infrastructure construction impact disputes in Canada, including the development, assessment, quantification and litigation/arbitration of delay, extra, schedule extension and productivity issues, as well as product liability claims. Scott has extensive trial experience, representing clients in many major and complex disputes before Courts across Canada, and in commercial arbitration proceedings, both domestic and international. Scott’s knowledge and experience draw from a technical background in mechanical engineering.
Through hosting and speaking at seminars across Canada on construction law matters, Scott demonstrates a keen interest in knowledge sharing and staying at the forefront of legal developments, promising clients a lawyer who is not only competent but also dedicated to continuous learning and growth.
Scott was designated King’s Counsel in 2011 and is a Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers.
