Verna is a corporate paralegal in Miller Thomson’s Vancouver office. She brings a wealth of experience to her role, after more than two decades working at law firms across the country, as well as for a publicly traded company. Verna assists lawyers and clients with a variety of corporate law issues, including drafting documents relating to incorporations, organizations, amalgamations, amendments/alterations, rollovers, redemptions, annual proceedings, dividends, continuances, dissolutions, revivals, extra-provincial registrations, limited partnerships and business name registrations. She also assists with corporate and tax reorganizations, financings and share/asset purchase and sales transactions.

A frequent mentor to intermediate and junior paralegals, Verna’s collaborative approach ensures smooth transactions and top-notch client service, making her a valuable asset to any legal team.
