Yvonne Assel is a Litigation Law Clerk with the Insurance Litigation group in Miller Thomson’s Calgary office. She assists with all aspects of plaintiff personal injury files and also prepares assessments, medical chronologies, independent medical examination packages, affidavits of records, as well as reviewing and responding to undertakings, managing service of documents, maintaining limitation dates and drafting letters for lawyers to review and finalize. In addition, Yvonne also assists the litigation group in the firm nationally in providing assistance with searches.

Yvonne’s attention to detail, experience and dedication to her craft make her an invaluable asset to the team.

Yvonne graduated from Red Deer College in 1990 where she completed the Legal Assistant 2 year program. She has over 3 decades of experience in the legal field, mainly in litigation with 26 years in the field of personal injury law.
