Coffee Talk Health Seminar Series

A leading seminar series on hot topics and current issues affecting the health industry

Coffee Talk is a webinar series for the health industry. Each month, we invite health industry participants from across Ontario to grab a coffee and connect with us via audio or webinar as we discuss hot topics and current issues. All of our presentations start at 8:00 a.m. and are finished by 9:00 a.m. to accommodate busy schedules.

Invitations with detailed registration instructions are sent via e-mail before each session. We invite you to subscribe to our Coffee Talk mailing list (under the Events section). 

Coffee Talk is currently only available in Ontario. Contact your Regional Contact to discuss seminar opportunities.

Registration

All of our Coffee Talk seminars start promptly at 8:00 a.m. so you can get a head start on your busy day.

Registration for Coffee Talk is by invitation only.  Please subscribe to our email list to receive information about future seminars.  For each Coffee Talk seminar, Miller Thomson’s Health Industry Group will send you an invitation with information about the seminar and how to register.

Participating via Webinar

Our webinar format allows participants to attend using any web-enabled device, including a personal computer, laptop or group video conferencing.  Webinar participants are able to view the presenter(s) and slides simultaneously and in real-time.  Internet access is required.

Before each seminar, webinar registrants will receive a link by email which will provide access to the webinar.  You must register for the webinar in order to receive the link.

Attending the Seminar

On the morning of the webinar, all registered participants are asked to connect by clicking the webinar link (emailed after registering).  The link will become live 30 minutes prior to the webinar start time.

My registration link is not allowing me to register, what should I do?

Our Coffee Talk e-mail invitations are linked to the original recipient’s e-mail address.   Once someone registers using that invitation, subsequent registrations will not have access.   If you are unable to register for the seminar, it may be because someone else has already registered using the link.

We recommend that you only register using your own invitation.

If your invitation has been forwarded to you by someone else, please contact coffeetalk@millerthomson.com to receive your own invitation.

How can I participate by webinar as a group?

If you are participating as a group in a boardroom setting, a computer, internet connection and HDMI or projector will be required. Please refer to the web link provided on the invitation to access the webinar.

Should I expect to receive presentation materials or handouts for the Coffee Talk seminars?

Individuals who have registered for the Coffee Talk webinar have access to the presentation materials during the webinar. Presentation materials are archived and posted to our website following the presentation and can be accessed above.

Please note that the e-mail address provided through the on-line registration process will be the address used to forward presentation materials and any other communications, and/or to notify you of any changes.

If you are registering participants on behalf of your organization, you will need to distribute presentation materials to all participants within your organization.
