Ana is a skilled insurance litigator in Canada, focusing on a range of property and casualty claims, from motor vehicle to construction, and professional liability cases. With experience representing Roman Catholic and Protestant churches, Ana has successfully appeared in various courts and before arbitrators, including across various provinces and Territories. Ana’s background includes significant work as a legal assistant for two decades, complementing her legal proficiency.

Ana has contributed to various legal publications, showcasing her experience and thought leadership in areas such as settlement offer consequences, architectural practices, and insurance. Ana’s insightful articles and co-editor roles demonstrate her commitment to keeping clients informed and empowered in legal matters.

Ana is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Ontario. While in law school, she was a founding member of the Portuguese Canadian Law Students’ Association, and is an active member of the Portuguese Canadian Lawyers’ Association.
