Christine Naycalo is a law clerk in Miller Thomson’s Construction Litigation Group. With a particular focus on construction litigation, she handles corporate and property searches to verify ownership, preserves liens and perfects certificate of actions by way of registration in Teraview, drafts pleadings, motion records and supports e-discovery, and trial preparation. She also provides support in the litigation team by conducting motor vehicle searches. Christine also shines in a broader range of practice areas, including corporate law, real estate law, and landlord and tenant work, building on her history as a corporate law clerk, when she conducted corporate searches and filed Articles of Incorporation, PPSA, Annual Returns, and Business Registrations for various clients. She has since expanded her repertoire through work as a real estate law clerk, conducting property searches as well as preparing and registering mortgages, notices of lease, construction liens, certificates of pending litigations and certificate of actions. She advanced her legal expertise during her Paralegal program as she attended hearings, mediations, and negotiated settlements at the Landlord and Tenant Tribunals. Christine was recently awarded a Review Pro Certificate from RelativityOne.

Christine is licensed as a Paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario, a member of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario, a Notary Public for the Province of Ontario and a Commissioner of Oaths. In addition, York Construction Academy has awarded her a certificate for completing the Construction and Home Renovation Technician. RelativityOne has awarded her a certificate for completing Review Pro. Furthermore, the Construction Institute of Canada awarded her a certificate for completing Prompt Payment Best Practices, Invoicing Properly and Preparing Evidence for Adjudication Procedures, making her a versatile asset to any legal team.
