Genevieve Cantin

Genevieve Cantin is an associate in the Labour and Employment Group. She advises public and private sector employers on a variety of issues, including drafting employment agreements and workplace policies, discipline and terminations, employment standards, enforcement of restrictive covenants, employment issues arising in corporate transactions and human rights issues. Genevieve also has extensive experience handling employment-related class actions.

Genevieve joined Miller Thomson LLP in 2022 after practicing at a leading labour and employment boutique in Toronto. She has been licensed to practice law in Ontario since 2015.

In her litigation practice, Genevieve represents clients in trials, appeals and tribunal/board hearings. She has appeared in all levels of court in Ontario, the Court of King’s Bench of Manitoba, the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal.
