Jade Scrymgeour’s primary specialty is infrastructure development with a particular focus on aboriginal business law matters. Jade’s experience includes project development, procurement, construction, infrastructure, public private partnerships, and service delivery.  Jade provides advice to owners and contractors in the structuring and drafting of a range of procurement documents and project agreements.

Jade provides pragmatic advice and counsel in a number of areas, including:

Development: Advising on development and construction in relation to projects on private, public, and First Nations land.

Construction: Drafting and negotiation of Design-Build (DB), Design-Build Finance (DBF), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), Construction Management (CM) and other related project agreements.

Procurement: Drafting and negotiation of procurement documents such as Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs).

Jade is a regular contributor to the profession and has presented on procurement and infrastructure related topics.

Jade previously practiced in the Vancouver office of another national firm where she worked on both public sector and private sector infrastructure projects including several hospital projects in British Columbia.

In the community, Jade is a regular contributor to the profession and is a lawyer wellbeing mentor at the Peter A. Allard School of Law.
