Kaitlin Jagersky is one of the firm’s litigation partners. She is an experienced litigator whose practice is focused on family, estates and commercial matters. Kaitlin is a fierce and respected advocate, with experience representing clients in the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, Family Court Branch of the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal. She also recognizes the significant benefits of resolving matters outside of court through the various dispute resolution services available, such as negotiation, mediation and private arbitration.
Kaitlin has a diverse litigation practice that includes the following:
- Family Law: Kaitlin represents and advises clients on all areas of family law including issues related to complex income and corporate/business matters arising from property and support claims. Kaitlin also has extensive knowledge and experience in negotiating and drafting cohabitation agreements, marriage contracts and separation agreements.
- Estate Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Kaitlin acts for individuals and their families with will challenges, dependant support claims, guardianship proceedings, power of attorney disputes and passing-of-account applications.
- Commercial Litigation: Kaitlin acts for a wide array of clients in her commercial litigation practice on matters involving contractual disputes, debt claims and shareholder disputes.
Kaitlin gains the respect and confidence of her clients by providing them with individualized, high quality legal services and being dedicated to resolving their disputes in a timely and cost-effective manner.
