Aperçu
Matthew is building a broad real estate practice with a focus on commercial transactions and leasing. He has assisted clients with the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate, and has experience representing clients in a number of commercial leasing matters.
Matthew was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023 after summering and articling at Miller Thomson LLP. Prior to receiving his J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2022, Matthew worked as a caseworker in the Housing Division of Downtown Legal Services, the University of Toronto’s legal clinic. In this role, Matthew represented clients in disputes at the Landlord and Tenant Board and in negotiations with landlords on a wide range of issues.
Prior to attending law school, Matthew received a Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree from Queen’s University and worked as a Property Manager for a large residential landholding company where he managed a portfolio of mid to high-rise apartment buildings.
