Michael Hanuman is an associate in Miller Thomson’s Real Estate group, with a practice focusing on commercial real estate in the private, not-for-profit, public and Indigenous sectors. He assists senior counsel in advising clients on a variety of real estate matters, including commercial leasing; financing; purchase and sale transactions; and land development.
Michael joined Miller Thomson as a summer articled student in 2022, returned to complete his articles in 2023, and became an associate on his call to the bar in 2024. Michael received his JD from Thompson Rivers University, where he volunteered for several legal clinics and the law students’ society. Prior to law school, Michael completed his BA in Political Science at Simon Fraser University, with a focus on urban planning and community development.
