Susan Adam Metzler has a wealth of experience over a broad spectrum of litigious matters including institutional liability, employment, commercial, human rights, health care, and family. She is well regarded not only for her legal knowledge, but her practical approach to problems and a respectful manner towards all involved in any given situation. She earns the trust and confidence of her clients, and is dedicated to resolving their issues and achieving their goals in a timely, cost-effective manner.
Susan is a sought-after speaker at various professional and business events, sharing her experience with audiences from Osgoode Hall Law School to Chamber of Commerce groups. She has sat on many boards over the years as a volunteer such as the Collegium, St. Michael’s College, University of Toronto; St. Elizabeth Visiting Nurses; St. Augustine’s Seminary; Board of Governors, and Regis College.
Susan is associated with the Thomas More Lawyers’ Guild and the Catholic Women’s League. She has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada for Corporate and Commercial Litigation, and has received the Special Faculty Award from the University of Windsor Law School in memory of Igor Kaplan, Q.C. She is also a recipient of the University of Toronto’s Arbor Award. In addition, Susan is the recipient of St. Michael’s College, University of Toronto Spirit of St. Mike’s Alumni Award. Recently, Susan was awarded the Papal Honour, the Cross Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice.
